New Strategic Plan

New Strategic Plan: Planning Process 2022-2024

A Strategic Planning Task Force was appointed in December 2022 to begin developing a new strategic plan for Illinois State University. The current plan, Educate Connect Elevate: Illinois State 2018-2023 , is near its end and a new action-oriented strategic plan will set forth a vision that will guide Illinois State in the coming years.

The new strategic plan draft, Excellence by Design: 2024-2029 , has been approved by each shared governance group. Excellence by Design will next be shared with the Illinois State University Board of Trustees at its May 2024 meeting, seeking its approval.
