New Strategic Planning Process 2022-2024
A Strategic Planning Task Force was appointed in December 2022 to begin developing a new strategic plan for Illinois State University. The current plan, Educate Connect Elevate: Illinois State 2018-2023 , is near its end and a new action-oriented strategic plan will set forth a vision that will guide Illinois State in the coming years.

New Strategic Plan Draft
The new strategic plan draft, Excellence By Design: 2024-2029 , was released in October 2023 for review and feedback.
The Strategic Planning Task Force seeks feedback on the draft and invites faculty, staff, students, alumni, annuitants, community members, and partners to participate through Town Hall meetings and completing a survey. The survey is available through November 17, 2023.
