The current strategic plan, Educate Connect Elevate: Illinois State 2018-2023, was approved by the Illinois State University Board of Trustees in May 2018.
New Strategic Planning Process
A new strategic planning process began in fall 2022 and is expected to conclude in May 2024. The new strategic plan draft, Excellence by Design: 2024-2029 , has been approved by each shared governance group. Excellence by Design will next be shared with the Illinois State University Board of Trustees at its May 2024 meeting, seeking its approval.
